Description
This is a very common polypore in Colorado. It is one of the more abundant ones. They can be used to make paper. Studies have also shown that this fungus is high in antioxidants and cancer fighting properties in the extracts of Fomitopsis. Even more so than Gamoderma and Agarikon species.
