Found at lower elevations in Colorado. Mycorrhizal with Gamble Oak.
Description
White and slender with a larger bulbous like volva and a prominent thin annulus. They stain instantly yellow in KOH. Spores are amyloid turning blue in Melzer's reagent. Absent most years and more abundant on wet years. July through August.

Q = 1 - 1.1 (1.2); N = 30;
Mean = 8.4 × 8 µm;
